Why do I teach pottery?
I was one of those people who always wanted to learn but took business classes instead because I thought like a vulcan. One day I met this potter who knew everyone I knew and had quite a name for himself in the area. After seeing him a few times at social events, I got the courage to ask him if he would teach me. That was in 2012. Since then, I took my last drink, met Jesus, sold a business, ended a long term relationship, lost my mom to cancer, got married, started a new career, lost my dad, and moved away from my home of 20 years. Clay & God were there through it all. I was the potter, the mud was the clay. God was the potter, I was the clay. Naturally, I want to share that with EVERYONE.
