Pottery & Jesus

I love Jesus and I love pottery. I am being changed by reading the Word of God (Duh) and I am making a way selling pottery. It just made sense to put them both on a website.  I have a mustard seed of faith on my best days. And that has been enough for God to forge a sweet life for me.

Why Do I Teach Pottery?

I was one of those people who always wanted to learn but took business classes instead because I thought like a Vulcan.  One day I met this potter who knew everyone I knew and had quite a name for himself in the area. After seeing him a few times at social events,  I got the courage to ask him if he would teach me. He said yes. That was in 2012.  Since then, I took my last drink, met Jesus, sold a business, ended a long term relationship, lost my mom, got married, started a new career, lost my dad, and moved away from my home of 20 years.  Clay & God were there through it all.  I was the potter, the mud was the clay.  God was the potter, I was the clay. Still am.

Naturally, I want to share that with EVERYONE.

In addition, I just LOVE to teach.  And when I teach something I LOVE, it's a lot of fun.  So, you could say I teach pottery because it's fun.
