I could probably start all of these posts with "I woke up this morning..." Today's thing was just more self will run riot. Instead of cussing and discussing it over with God, I just went to the Word. Well, I read another Christian devo first (good thing I can laugh at myself) but the devo was EXACTLY what I needed. It said what I have been learning lately. This isn't about figuring out what to do with the snags the enemy uses on me. It isn't about "figuring" anything out. It's about trusting in God and letting him do His job. It all seems so simple and repetitive. I suppose it's part of being human. If I were good at this, I would get cocky and forget that I need God.
The devo sent me to Joshua 1:1-9. It ends with my new favorite line in scripture:, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
